Becky Steltzner

Becky Steltzner studied clarinet with Glenn Bowen and Mitchell Lurie, and after receiving a Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California, took a job with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra in Cape Town, South Africa. She is still working with this orchestra, which eventually merged with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra to become the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. During her time there, she has lectured at the University of Cape Town, and has been active in recitals and chamber music, as well as coaching at an annual chamber music festival for high school students.
